The Freeze Lesson function allows you to temporarily freeze a student’s lessons for a specific date range.
Here’s how you can set it up:
Go to the Student Module.
Click on the name of the student whose lesson you wish to freeze.
Navigate to the Student's Lesson Enrollment Page.
Click the three dots under the Action column for the lesson you want to freeze and select "Freeze". Check the boxes next to the lessons you want to freeze and click "Freeze selected lessons" if you wish to freeze multiple lessons in bulk.
Specify the start and end dates for the freeze period.
Optionally, provide a reason for the freeze in the "Remarks" field.
Click "Check" to review the freeze details.
Under Summary & Adjustment, review and adjust the following as needed:
- For lessons enrolled with a credit or universal credit package with an expiry date, adjust the credit expiry date.
- For lessons with recurring, recurring combo, or credit packages with invoice settings, adjust the next invoice issuance date.
Click "Save" to complete the process.
Important Notes
1. Recurring Combo Packages:
Lessons under a Recurring Combo package will be frozen together for the same period if:
- The student has other lessons under the same Recurring Combo package, or
- The student enrolls in a lesson under the same Recurring Combo package.
2. The student will automatically be unfrozen after the freeze period ends.
3. Invoices:
- If you freeze a lesson before the invoice is generated, no new invoice will be created.
- If you freeze the lesson after the invoice has been generated:
- If the invoice is unpaid, delete the invoice.
- If the invoice is paid, delete the invoice and receipt (note that the invoice and receipt numbers cannot be reused), or create a credit note.
