The Preliminary Attendance feature in AOneSchools allows you to mark attendance for future lessons in advance. This helps with planning and managing attendance before the actual lesson day. The preliminary records are temporary and will be automatically replaced by the actual attendance once taken on the lesson day.
Using Preliminary Attendance is simple and straightforward. Here’s how to use it:
- Go to the Attendance module.
- Select a lesson in future schedule.
- Click the Take Preliminary Attendance button.
- Update each student’s attendance status as needed.
- Click Save Preliminary Attendance to store your temporary records.
What Happens on the Lesson Day?
On the day of the lesson, the process is streamlined:
- A confirmation pop-up will appear, asking if you'd like to use the preliminary attendance records.
- If you confirm, the system will load the most recent preliminary records, including any remarks you’ve added.
- You can then make adjustments and save the actual attendance.
- Once the final attendance is saved, the preliminary records are automatically deleted.
