Replacement requests can be submitted by Superadmin, Admin, Teacher, and Guardian. Guardians can only submit replacement requests if Superadmin has enabled this feature in the settings (configure under Settings -> Other Settings).
Submitting a Replacement Request
1. Navigate to the Replacement Request module.
2. Click the "Create" button.
3. Choose the lesson for which you want to request a replacement.
4. Choose the Replacement Schedule:
- Existing Lesson:
Check the "Replace to existing lesson" box and select the preferred lesson with the lesson date.
- Custom Date:
Uncheck the "Replace to existing lesson" box and enter the preferred date and time.
5. Choose the student for whom you are changing the schedule.
6. Click the "Create" button to submit the request.
Approval Process
Super admin / Admin:
- Replacement requests are automatically approved.
Teacher:
- Replacement requests are subject to approval by Superadmin or Admin.
After Approval
1. Lesson Schedule:
- The schedule will be updated for all relevant users.
2. Lesson Attendance List:
- Existing Lesson Replacement
The student’s name will appear in the attendance list of the new lesson with label "Replaced from..."
- Custom Date Replacement
The replacement schedule will be visible under Replacement Lesson in the Attendance module.
