How to Set Holidays and Their Impact

Setting Up Holidays


1. Navigate to Holiday module. 


2. Click on "Add Holiday".


3. Enter Holiday Details:

  • Start and End Dates: Specify the range of dates for the holiday.
  • Holiday Name: Enter the name of the holiday.


4. Configure Lesson Settings:

  • Cancel All Lessons: Choose this option if you want to cancel all lessons during the holiday.
  • Continue All Lessons: Choose this option if you want lessons to proceed as usual.
  • Cancel Specific Subjects/Continue Specific Lessons: Select this option if you need to manage specific lessons or subjects differently.
  • Allow Schedule Replacement Requests: Check this box if you want to permit rescheduling of classes during the holiday.


5. Create the Holiday:

  • Click "Create" to finalize the holiday


Important Notes:

  • If you choose to cancel lessons, teachers assigned to those lessons will not be able to mark attendance on the holiday.
  • If you choose to continue lessons, teachers can still mark attendance.
  • If you do not check the "Allow replacement" option, replacement class dates will not be visible when submitting replacement requests.
  • You cannot set multiple holidays for the same date.
