Why can’t I delete a Credit Note?

If you're unable to delete a credit note, it's likely because one or more system rules are preventing the action.

Before you can delete a credit note, please make sure:

  1. No Payment Has Been Made
    The related invoice should not have any payment recorded after the credit note was issued.

  2. Delete in Order
    If there are multiple credit notes for the same invoice, you must delete them from the latest one to the oldest. You can’t skip the order.

  3. Not Involved in e-Invoice Submission
    The credit note must not be currently in any submission process or already validated by LHDN.

What If I Still Can’t Delete It?


If you've checked all the points above and still can’t delete the credit note, it means one or more of these rules still apply. Double-check the invoice and e-invoice status to confirm.
